It’s where I’ve spent sweaty summers and marshmellow winters, barefoot on the sun warmed deck and curled up in blanket by the fire. As a teenager, the cabin was adventure. As an adult living far away, it’s become something quieter — a place that sneaks up on me with nostalgia in the form of pine-scented breeze and the familiar sound of the waves rocking the dock.
These images are my way of collecting those moments: the stillness, the boredom, the beauty. The way time stretches differently there. It's less about escape, more about returning — to a place, a rhythm, a version of myself I don’t see so often anymore.
